Group camping allows for every member of the group camp to arrive whenever they can, rather than having to caravan and all arrive together to secure camping spots next to each other (this is what GA campers have to do).
Group camping section includes significantly extra space to accommodate for common areas, as opposed to GA camping which only allows for a very limited amount of space for your campsite.
Our group coordinators (Alex & Andrea) have made significant investments in our camping equipment that we share with our group members, including: a portable shower and rinse kit (watch a video of it in action), a water heater (so you can have a hot shower!), Starlink satellite internet, solar panels, solar powered generator, and an electric cooler that keeps beers cold the entire weekend! It really is glamping :)
We have several group members that are from Michigan and Electric Forest veterans, so you can rest assured they'll give you the best advice on anything you need to know about this experience.
1. Festival Ticket
Called:
GENERAL ADMISSION WRISTBAND
Everyone needs to purchase an official wristband to enter camping and festival grounds.
2. Group Camping Ticket
Everyone needs to purchase this IN ADDITION to the GA Camping wristband. Only use this link as it is unique to our group and will ensure you are placed in our group.
4. Join our Discord
Join our Discord and checkout the other tools for staying in touch with the group.
5. Join the Google Group
Ideally we won't need this group for most things, but it'll be used to add a layer of privacy/security to certain documents.
Get a group size of 20 or more people (group size minimum is 20 people - if you know anyone who would like to join us please contact Alex & Andrea ASAP!)
Coordinate items for our shared space (canopies, rugs, tapestries, etc) and who is bringing what.
Create a rough layout of our Group Camping site.
